The Peak District and Derbyshire is one of the UK’s most popular walking and cycling destinations.

With many walks right from the door, there really is something for everyone, from challenging treks up hills and crags to simple circular walks in the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales. There are plenty of maps and guide books on offer in the Barn. – ‘Tea Shop Walks’ and ‘Pub Walks’ are particularly popular!

Cycling in the Peak District is great fun for all the family to enjoy. There is a good choice of cycle hire, many offering traffic free easy-going routes in spectacular scenery, including the Monsal, High Peak and Tissington Trails. All abilities and ages are catered for, with electric bikes, wheelchair cycles and buggies, so no one gets left behind!

For the more serious cyclists there are a good range of road cycling routes taking in the wonderful scenery and Derbyshire hills along with a great choice of off-road mountain bike trails.

Littonfields Barn offers high quality accommodation for your group walking or cycling holiday, with secure bike storage, bike and boot washing facilities and drying racks in the heated games room.
